What this site is built to, and how it is checked
Accessibility
The BaddJet archive is built to WCAG 2.2, level AA. A page that fails the build's checks does not ship; the browser checks were last run on 25 September 2026.
What is checked, and how
- Every page passes axe-core and the build's structural checks (labels, headings, alt text, focus) before it ships.
- Every text and background colour pair in the theme is measured against 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and controls.
- A sample of every kind of page is walked with a keyboard alone and at phone width.
Things a reader should know
- Every page except search works with no JavaScript at all, and little is used anywhere.
- Every page works with a keyboard alone: a skip link comes first, and every control shows a visible focus ring.
- Nothing moves on its own, and the start-up screen respects a reduced-motion setting.
- Text can be enlarged to 200 percent in the browser without losing content.
- Colour is never the only signal: every grade and status is also a word.
Known exceptions
- Colour contrast, target size and focus order need a rendered page, so they are checked in a browser on a sample covering every template, not on every page.
- The Windows 98 styling is a house style, not a claim about any product. Its decorative window buttons are hidden from assistive technology.
Tell us through the question page: say which page and what got in the way. It is read by a person, and fixing it goes ahead of other work. There is no account to log into.
