What we hold, and for how long
Privacy
This site collects personal data through exactly one form, on the question page. Nothing else on any page asks you for anything or watches what you do.
What the form collects
Fields sent when you press Send enquiry
- Your name
- So a reply can address you.
- Your email address
- So there is somewhere to send the reply. It is the only way we answer.
- Your message
- The question you asked.
- A fixed label
- "General enquiry", the same on every message. It says which form was used and nothing about you.
- Your ski
- Only if you typed one.
There is one more field, hidden, which exists to catch automated spam. If you are a person you will never see it and it will always be empty.
Where it goes
The form is handled by Cloudflare, who host this site. Your submission is stored in their key-value store, and a notification is emailed to us through Resend, an email delivery service. Both process it on our behalf and neither uses it for anything else. Their own privacy terms are at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy and resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Nobody else receives it. It is not sold, not shared with a supplier, and not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
How long it is kept
Until the enquiry is answered and closed, and then for up to twelve months in case you come back about the same question. After that it is deleted from the store.
Asking to see it or have it removed
Reply to the email we sent you, or send a new enquiry saying so, and we will tell you what we hold and delete it on request. There is no account to log into and nothing to unsubscribe from.
Every claim here is checkable against the site as it is built today, not a description of a generic web business.
- No cookies. No page sets one, for any purpose, including the form.
- No analytics. Nothing counts visits, records sessions or builds a profile. We genuinely do not know who reads this.
- No third-party scripts. No tag manager, no advertising pixel, no embedded widgets. The site loads no JavaScript from anywhere but itself, and almost none of its own.
- No tracking in links. Outbound links to rulebooks and manufacturers carry no identifiers.
Server logs at the host record the usual request data, including IP addresses, as every web server does. We do not read them and we cannot connect them to a person.
This page has to change when the site does. Adding analytics, an account system or a checkout would each make part of the above untrue, and the page has to be rewritten before that ships rather than after somebody notices. Last reviewed against the built site on 9 September 2026.
