The eras this page's records fall in are drawn solid; the others are hollow.

How we know: Each bar runs the years printed on that era's panel, and which eras a page falls in is the archive's grouping of its records, not the length of anyone's career.

Design and invention

2017 · Likely

The Watercraft Journal's feature of 12 June 2017 on SBT's own brand of four-stroke engines says it interviewed him. He says SBT recognized the need for new engines to replace older four-strokes in 2013, concentrated on the older models, spent two years refining the designs on the water and in durability tests, and had launched the programme the year before the article; the article describes the engines as SBT's own versions of Yamaha 1.1-litre and Sea-Doo 1.5-litre engines. These are his account of the company's programme.

Business

2016, 2017, 2020 and 2024 · Confirmed

The Watercraft Journal, in articles of 16 March 2016 and 12 June 2017, Engine Builder, on 24 April 2020, and PersonalWatercraft.com, on 15 July 2024, each call him President of SBT, Inc. (the 2024 article prints the first name as Cj) and quote him, so four articles from three publishers over eight years use the title. None says when he took the post or whether he holds another office (read in the held texts, 2026-10-07).

2020 · Likely

The piece says SBT was founded in 1997 and names no founder.

What the archive has not read (3)

  • No held document says when he became President, who held the post before him, or what other office he holds (searched the archive's mirror and research cache for his name, 2026-10-07).
  • No registry record of the company's officers is held (searched the archive's mirror and research cache, 2026-10-07). Florida's corporation search is a web form behind a bot check and was not used.
  • The association's posts of 2023 to 2025 name the company as World Finals title sponsor and do not name him, so no held document ties him to the sponsorship beyond the company's name (searched the archive's mirror, 2026-10-07).
