The eras this page's records fall in are drawn solid; the others are hollow.

How we know: Each bar runs the years printed on that era's panel, and which eras a page falls in is the archive's grouping of its records, not the length of anyone's career.

Results

2008 · Confirmed

The official overall results of the 2008 race give her a time of 1 hour 26 minutes 5 seconds, twentieth overall, in Pro/Am Open on a Kawasaki. The sheet prints no event title; the race and year come from the address it was published at, and its only printed date is the revision mark 8/7/08.

2009 · Likely

The 2009 results table on the race's web page lists her in Mfg Stock in 73 minutes 58 seconds, twelfth in a table that prints no positions and second of the class. The report of the race on the same page says she raced the new Manufacturers Bone Stock class, was fifth overall when the steering of her Kawasaki failed on the last leg, and brought it over the line.

2009 · Likely

A team endurance sheet of 2009 that names no event lists her alone in third place in Pro Am 4 Stroke on a Kawasaki, 30 laps; her profile on the PWCOFFSHORE site lists third in class at the Mark Hahn 300 of 28 February 2009. Both are from the same site, and the sheet itself never names the race.

Organising the sport

Likely

The race page's report of the 2009 race says she spent many hours preparing the riders of the race's new Challenged Athlete class, introduced that year by the promoter.

2006 · Likely

The IJSBA's list of key staff for its 2006 World Finals, posted on 11 September 2006, names Shawn Alladio as Safety Director. Reading her as the offshore racer rests on the PWCOFFSHORE profile, which lists the post of IJSBA Water Safety Director among her distinctions; that is the archive's inference.

2005 · Likely

An IJSBA post shown with the date 23 August 2005, announcing new standing committees, lists her first on its Safety Committee. The text prints no 2005; the year is the date the page displays. Reading her as the offshore racer rests on the same safety post in the PWCOFFSHORE profile, which is the archive's inference.

Recognition

Likely

The association's hall of fame roster lists Shawn Alladio among its 2006 inductees, the year the hall was created. The roster prints names only, and the one tie to the offshore racer of that name is the PWCOFFSHORE racing team's profile, which lists an inaugural IJSBA Hall of Fame induction among her distinctions, so reading the roster name as hers is an inference.

Likely

The PWCOFFSHORE site's Legacy Racers page of 2012 lists her in the Manufacturer Stock Class of its racing team, names her the 2009 winner of the team's Warrior Award, and lists among her distinctions the post of IJSBA Water Safety Director. The IJSBA's own documents name her Safety Director of its 2006 World Finals and a member of its Safety Committee in 2005; none held prints the title Water Safety Director (searched the archive's mirror, 2026-10-09).

What the archive has not read (3)

  • She is not a member of the PWCOFFSHORE hall of fame: its pages of 2008, 2019 and 2026 print her name as the author of the tribute to its first inductee (checked 2026-10-05).
  • The 2010 race results list her in the manufacturer stock class with no finish time or place printed (checked 2026-10-05).
  • The race page's list of first women also names her for 1994, 1996 and 2001 in entries that read as series or class results and not as Long Beach to Catalina finishes, and no result sheet for those years is held (searched the archive's mirror and research cache, 2026-10-05).

  • 2008 LB2CAT official overall (web.archive.org): Long Beach to Catalina and Back 2008, official overall results (spreadsheet on pwcoffshore.com, Wayback capture), pwcoffshore.com, 2008-08-07; editorial, high. The race's official overall results, revision of 7 August 2008, with position, number, make, time, class and sponsors per rider, read as spreadsheet rows. High because it is the results document itself; the sheet prints no sanctioning body, and the event and year come from its file name.
  • LB2CAT race page 2010 (web.archive.org): LB2CAT race page on pwcoffshore.com, captured June 2010, pwcoffshore.com; editorial, medium. A winners list, the 2009 results as a table with no position numbers, and a report of the 2009 race calling it an APBA offshore national championship run by RPM Racing Enterprises. Medium as a web page restating results rather than the results document.
  • 2009 endurance sheet (event unnamed) (web.archive.org): Team endurance results, 2009 (PDF on pwcoffshore.com; the sheet names no event), pwcoffshore.com, 2009-03-02; editorial, medium. A team endurance result sheet by class, laps, boat, riders and make, PDF made 2 March 2009. It never names its event; the dates, lap count and class winners point to the Mark Hahn Memorial 300 of 28 February 2009, which is an inference, so a page using it says so.
  • Offshore legacy racers 2012 (web.archive.org): Legacy Racers page on pwcoffshore.com, captured February 2012, pwcoffshore.com; editorial, medium. The site's list of long-standing offshore racers with notes on each, as of February 2012. Medium as the site's own tribute; two email addresses removed from the held copy.
  • IJSBA post 2006 Finals staff (web.archive.org): IJSBA announces key staff positions for 2006 quakysense World Finals (IJSBA news post dated 11 September 2006, Wayback capture of 22 September 2020), International Jet Sports Boating Association, 2006-09-11; sanctioning body, high. The association's own list of the key staff posts for its 2006 World Finals, each post printed above the people named in it: a competition manager, race directors, technical directors, scoring, registration, safety, Coast Guard compliance, production operations and an event executive director. High for whom the association names in each post. The page prints "Lead Racer Director" and "Jim Russel" as given. The text prints 2006 in its heading.
  • IJSBA post racer committees 2005 (web.archive.org): IJSBA Racer Committees (IJSBA news post dated 23 August 2005, Wayback capture of 19 September 2020), International Jet Sports Boating Association, 2005-08-23; sanctioning body, high. The association's announcement of its standing Closed Course, Endurance, Freestyle and Safety committees, their first members, and a racers' veto procedure; the outgoing racer representative is quoted naming the current one. High for whom it names. The text prints 2006 and 2007 only as the end of appointed terms and the start of elections; 2005 is the date the byline displays.
  • IJSBA hall of fame page (ijsba.com): The Jacobsen-Stjernstrom IJSBA Hall of Fame (IJSBA page), International Jet Sports Boating Association; sanctioning body, high. The association's own roster, read on 22 September 2026, giving the hall's name, its creation and dedication in 2006, and inductees by year to 2014, names only. It publishes no selection criteria and no citation for anyone.

Changes to this page

  • 2026-10-09: Added the IJSBA's 2006 World Finals staff list naming her Safety Director and its 2005 post listing her on the Safety Committee, with the organiser role and the link to the 1985 to 2005 era, and corrected the sentence that said no IJSBA document held names a safety post for her.
  • 2026-10-09: Removed the race page's yearly list of the first woman across the line (2004, 2008 and 2009), which is a list of who finished first rather than a result sheet, and with it the link to the 1985 to 2005 era.
