What this build shows

A one-off display machine rather than a race entry: RIVA says it was built for display at the 2017 IJSBA World Finals in Havasu to showcase its own products. Read the parts list with that in mind. Two things make it worth keeping anyway. It is the only documented SX-R 1500 build we hold, and eight of its thirteen parts come from someone other than the builder, which is unusual in a catalogue showcase and makes the list more informative than most. That figure read five until 2026-09-10, which is the count of parts that ARE the builder's own, so the number was right and pointing the wrong way. Note the two Skat-Trak items: Skat-Trak's watercraft division closed in December 2022, so those two numbers are new old stock at best today.

What this page does not tell you

Whether any of it is legal in your class. A builder describing its own product, including by a class name, is not a check against a rulebook. Class legality holds the checks that name a section and a person.

Whether it would do the same on your machine. A quoted top speed is one builder's result on one craft, usually without the conditions, the rider weight or the fuel.
