The eras this page's records fall in are drawn solid; the others are hollow.
How we know: Each bar runs the years printed on that era's panel, and which eras a page falls in is the archive's grouping of its records, not the length of anyone's career.
Results
1999 · Confirmed
The 1999 sheet ranks him second in Pro Runabout 785 SS, with 53 points, on a Sea-Doo.

2004 · Confirmed
At the 2004 World Finals he was second in Pro-Am Ski Stock, second in both motos, and third in the final of Pro-Am Ski Modified, which the sheet prints as Modiified. He also rode Pro Ski Superstock, a class name printed on the moto sheet, where the points sheet prints boat number 300 for him.

1996, 1999, 2004, 2006 and 2007 · Likely
The archive reads the 1999 and 2004 sheets, the 1996 magazine feature below and the 2006 and 2007 Long Beach to Catalina results as one rider. The 1996 feature, as the archive's transcription of it records, gives him the number 300; the 2004, 2006 and 2007 documents give him the same number, and the 1996 and 1999 documents both put him on a Sea-Doo. That reading is the archive's inference.

2006 and 2007 · Likely
PWCOFFSHORE's results page lists him third in the Pro/Am Open class of the 2006 Long Beach to Catalina and Back race, run on 9 July 2006 as the APBA offshore national championship, and as not finishing the 2007 race.

Design and invention
1996 · Likely
Splash's June 1996 issue ran a feature, Riding A Rocket. The archive's transcription of the article describes it as covering a Rocket Ship Watercraft racing replica of his Sea-Doo HX; its parts list, headed Chris Fischetti Replica Modification Package, lists Rocket Ship steering, ride plate, intake grate and exhaust at retail prices.

Business
The archive's own summary of the June 1996 Splash feature says he opened Rocket Ship Watercraft as a dealership and sold replicas of his Sea-Doo HX from its showroom. That he opened the dealership is the transcriber's summary of the article, in the transcriber's words and not the magazine's.

Organising the sport
2014 · Likely
In a Watercraft Journal interview of April 2014 he described organising the Aqua Moto Grand Prix, vintage jet ski racing paired with drag boats at Lake Havasu on 3 and 4 May 2014, under a class structure and race format of his own. That is his account; no held document shows how the event went (searched the archive's mirror and research cache, 2026-10-05).

Recognition
The association's hall of fame lists Chris Fischetti among its 2006 inductees. The roster gives names only, so linking it to the racer on these sheets rests on the name.

What the archive has not read (4)
- The association's champions page also lists him for Pro Runabout 785 in 1996. The archive holds no 1996 result sheet (checked 2026-10-05 against the sheets held for 1999, 2004, 2008, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the 2013 entry list), so it is not a title here.
- Two businesses that are attached to him appear only as question headings in a 2022 podcast's show notes, which the archive does not treat as a record of either business (checked 2026-10-05).
- The Splash feature continues on page 44, which the archive has not read (checked 2026-10-05).
- The 2004 sheets print no event or year in their text; the event and year come from the addresses the association published them at (checked 2026-10-05).

Overall results by class for the World Finals of 10 to 17 October 1999, extracted from the association's PDF. - Offshore results page 2008 (web.archive.org): Race results page on pwcoffshore.com, captured January 2008, pwcoffshore.com; editorial, medium. Winners lists for the Long Beach to Catalina and Mark Hahn races, the 2007 and 2006 Long Beach to Catalina results and the 2007 Sprint Nationals at Long Beach. Medium as a page restating results; a winners list on it is not a result sheet.
- Splash June 1996 (held here, not public): Riding A Rocket, Splash, June 1996, pages 40 to 42 (our transcription of the owner's printed copy), Splash magazine, 1996-06; enthusiast media, medium. A period magazine feature on a race replica of his Sea-Doo HX, read from phone photographs of the owner's printed copy on 26 August 2026 and transcribed in our own record, already held here, so it is kept there rather than copied. The modification package and two short phrases are verbatim; the record's account of the article's running text is a summary in the transcriber's words, so a page restating it says so. The magazine has no public address, so the article is held here only. The continuation on page 44 was not read.
- Watercraft Journal 17 April 2014 (watercraftjournal.com): Seven Deadly Questions With Chris The Flying Fish Fischetti (The Watercraft Journal, 17 April 2014), The Watercraft Journal, 2014-04-17; enthusiast media, medium. A trade-press interview; what he says of his own career and plans is his own account, so a page restating it says whose words they are. The held copy has an age and one family sentence replaced in place.
- IJSBA hall of fame page (ijsba.com): The Jacobsen-Stjernstrom IJSBA Hall of Fame (IJSBA page), International Jet Sports Boating Association; sanctioning body, high. The association's own roster, read on 22 September 2026, giving the hall's name, its creation and dedication in 2006, and inductees by year to 2014, names only. It publishes no selection criteria and no citation for anyone.
