The printed record of a House Committee on Resources oversight hearing of 23 May 2001, on recreational access to public lands, includes a witness's prepared statement given on behalf of the Personal Watercraft Industry Association. Its passage on the industry's reductions in engine noise since 1998 cites a personal communication from Harry Klemm, of the Group K Personal Watercraft High Performance Shop.
