At a glance
The eras this page's records fall in are drawn solid; the others are hollow.
How we know: Each bar runs the years printed on that era's panel, and which eras a page falls in is the archive's grouping of its records, not the length of anyone's career.

2008 · Likely
The IJSBA's complete results of the 2008 World Finals list Veljko Sukalo, with Serbia in the hometown column, sixth in Amateur Vets Runabout Open, with moto places of 10 and 3. Reading him as the association's president rests on the name and the country, and is the archive's inference.

2019 and 2026 · Confirmed
The UIM Yearbook 2019, dated May 2019, and the UIM Yearbook 2025-26, dated June 2026, list "President: Veljko Sukalo" for the Jet Ski and Powerboat Association of Serbia among the UIM's national authorities. Neither says when the post began.

The IJSBA's 2002 rule book lists "Attn: Veljko Sukalo" under Yugoslavia for the Jet Ski Association of Yugoslavia (JSSJ) in its directory of international affiliates, a contact line that prints no post. The IJSBA's hall biography of 2016 says the Yugoslav association became the Jet Ski Association of Serbia; reading the contact as the Serbian association's president of the UIM yearbooks rests on the name and that account, and is the archive's inference.
2004 · Likely
The IJSBA's affiliates directory page captured on 11 April 2004 lists "Attn: Veljko Sukalo, Pres." under Serbia and Montenegro for the Jet Sports Boating Association of Serbia and Montenegro (JSSSCG). Reading him as the Serbian association's president of the UIM yearbooks rests on the name and the country, and is the archive's inference.

The IJSBA's biography of him as a 2016 hall of fame inductee says, in the hall's words, that in the early 1990s he founded the first jet ski club in Yugoslavia, organised several national championships, worked with the Hungarian federation on international races, and set up a Balkans Jet Ski Federation with the Bulgarian association, Serbia hosting a Balkan Jet Ski Championship from 2011. The biography cites no document, and no held text confirms these events (searched the archive's mirror and the research cache for Sukalo and Balkan, 2026-10-09).

What the archive has not read (2)
- The IJSBA's affiliates directory page of April 2004 lists him as Pres. of the Jet Sports Boating Association of Serbia and Montenegro. The IJSBA's rule books of 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014 print another name as President of the Jet Ski Association of Serbia. A later passage of the IJSBA's 2016 hall biography, not used here, calls him that association's president in 2014. The UIM yearbooks of 2019 and 2025-26 print him as president and the other person as secretary general of the Jet Ski and Powerboat Association of Serbia. No document of the Serbian association itself is held, and the record dates no presidency between 2004 and 2019 (searched the archive's mirror and research cache for Sukalo, 2026-10-09).
- The hall's roster page as the archive holds it, read in September 2026, lists inductees only to 2014, so the 2016 induction rests on the announcement of 12 August 2016 (read 2026-10-09).

The excerpt keeps its organigram, council, technical commission, Aquabike Committee (whose head it prints as President in the committee list and as Aquabike Chairman in the council list), medical and safety commission, International Board of Consultants, and the Estonian and Hungarian Jet Sports Federation entries in its list of national authorities with their officers. High for whom the UIM lists in each post. The excerpt also holds entries added for other records (the Serbia entry in the list of national authorities).

The association's biography of a 2016 hall of fame inductee, posted after public write-in campaigns. It tells his story in the hall's words and cites no document, so medium: it supports a likely claim worded as the hall's account and dates nothing. The held excerpt keeps only the paragraphs on the clubs, the national association, its championships and the Balkan federation; the paragraphs on his birth, travels, purchases, a death and its memorials, an honour given to another person, and his family are left out on purpose, and a memorial clause in a kept paragraph is replaced in place.

The held excerpt keeps the Belgium entries (EJSBA, European Jet Sports Boating Association, and BJSBA, both "Attn: Yves Van Heers"), the New Zealand entry (NZJSBA, "Attn: Linda Mellor"), and the Portugal (FPJS, "Attn: Francisco Pita, Pres.") and Serbia and Montenegro (JSSSCG, "Attn: Veljko Sukalo, Pres.") entries. High for the listing. Most Attn lines name a contact and print no post; the Portugal and Serbia and Montenegro lines print one. Addresses, telephone, fax, web and email lines are removed.

The association's announcement of the five people to be inducted into its hall of fame in 2016, as printed (one as Valjeko "Suki" Sukalo, line 17), after write-in campaigns from the public, with the ceremony set for 8 October 2016. High for the announcement. The hall's own roster page, as the archive holds it (ijsba-hall-of-fame-page), lists inductees only to 2014.
