The eras this page's records fall in are drawn solid; the others are hollow.
How we know: Each bar runs the years printed on that era's panel, and which eras a page falls in is the archive's grouping of its records, not the length of anyone's career.
Titles on the record (1)
Each read off a results document the archive holds: a result sheet, or, for a season's title, the body's own champions grid or season table, with the name as that document prints it.
| Year | Event | Class | Placing | Name as printed | Document |

Results
1999 · Confirmed
On the 1999 sheet he is ranked first in Pro Runabout 1200 SS with 60 points, on a Kawasaki, and second in Pro Ski 785 SS, a table in which the make column drifts away from the names, so no machine is read for that class.

2004 · Likely
At the 2004 World Finals he won the first two motos of Pro Runabout 1200 Superstock and was second in the third. The class name is printed on the moto sheet and not on the points sheet, whose points match the moto placings. His first place overall, on 173 points against 149 for the next rider, is read from the order of the points sums; the sheet prints no placing. Kawasaki is in his sponsor column, the make the 1999 sheet also prints for him.

2008 · Likely
The 2008 World Finals results list a Chris MacClugage ninth in GP Ski. That sheet prints no race number, so the archive ties the row to the racer on the other sheets by his full name and the GP ski class, which the 2013 report also names for him. The tie is an inference.

2013 · Likely
The Watercraft Journal reported in October 2013 that he won Pro Sport, Pro Ski Open and Pro Ski GP at that month's World Finals. The association's class list for the event, which records entries and not results, has him entered in Sport GP Open, Pro Ski Open and GP Ski Open. The archive holds no 2013 result sheet (searched the archive's mirror and research cache, 2026-10-05).

2013 · Likely
The same report says he began 2013 by winning February's Mark Hahn Memorial 300 with a team-mate.

Business
2012 and 2024 · Likely
Sea-Doo's blog, profiling him as an X-Team rider in February 2012, says his years in the business led him to start MACC Racing, a shop building aftermarket performance parts. A team release printed by The Watercraft Journal in March 2024 names him as owner and rider of the MACC Racing team.

2013 · Likely
The Watercraft Journal reported that he partnered with Bullett Racing after February 2013 and thanked it as a sponsor beside MACC Racing; it does not say who owns Bullett Racing.

Recognition
The association's hall of fame lists Chris MacClugage among its 2006 inductees. The roster gives names only, so linking it to the racer on these sheets rests on the name.

What the archive has not read (5)
- The association's champions page also lists him for Pro Ski in 1995 and 2013, Pro-Am Sport in 1996, Pro Runabout 785 in 1997 and Pro Runabout 1200 in 2001, 2002 and 2006. The archive holds no result sheet for any of those classes and years (checked 2026-10-05 against the sheets held for 1999, 2004, 2008, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the 2013 entry list), so none is a title here.
- The Watercraft Journal's articles of 2013 and 2024 give career totals of championships for him. Those are the writers' counts, not read off sheets, so they are not printed here.
- The 2015 and 2017 World Finals results list a Chris Macclugge, first in Pro-Am Runabout Stock in 2017. The spelling differs and nothing on those sheets ties that rider to him, so they are not used (checked 2026-10-05).
- A 2009 team endurance sheet lists him and a partner 13th in Pro Am 4 Stroke on a Yamaha, but the sheet names no event, so it is not used (checked 2026-10-05).
- The 2004 and 2008 sheets print no event or year in their text; both come from the addresses the association published them at (checked 2026-10-05).

Overall results by class for the World Finals of 10 to 17 October 1999, extracted from the association's PDF. The extract lets the hometown and maker columns drift against the names in places, so only a name and the position printed on the same line are read as one row.
- 2004 World Finals pro motos (web.archive.org): 2004 World Finals, pro classes heats and motos, sheet pros02 (PDF, Wayback capture), International Jet Sports Boating Association, 2004; sanctioning body, high. Heats, last-chance qualifiers and motos by pro class. The hometown column drifts against the names throughout, so it is never read as a rider's own. Event and year come from the file's address.
- 2004 World Finals Pro Runabout overall (web.archive.org): 2004 World Finals, Pro Runabout overall points (PDF, Wayback capture), International Jet Sports Boating Association, 2004; sanctioning body, high. Pro Runabout overall points by boat, with three motos and the sum. The sheet prints no position column and its cells drift out of line partway down the list, so an overall position read from it is an inference.
- 2008 World Finals results (web.archive.org): IJSBA World Finals 2008, complete results (PDF, Wayback capture), International Jet Sports Boating Association, 2008; sanctioning body, high. Trade-press report of his 2013 World Finals and season, with his own words. Medium; its career totals are the writer's and are never printed as counts, and its grades are not repeated. The held copy replaces in place an age, family sentences and a young rider's name.
- 2013 World Finals class list (web.archive.org): 2013 Hot Products World Finals, class list (PDF, Wayback capture), International Jet Sports Boating Association, 2013; sanctioning body, high. The entry list by class, not results: evidence that a rider was entered, never of a placing. Position, make and number cells appear only on alternate lines, so no machine is read from it.
