The eras this page's records fall in are drawn solid; the others are hollow.
How we know: Each bar runs the years printed on that era's panel, and which eras a page falls in is the archive's grouping of its records, not the length of anyone's career.
Titles on the record (1)
Each read off a results document the archive holds: a result sheet, or, for a season's title, the body's own champions grid or season table, with the name as that document prints it.

1999 · Confirmed
The association's overall results for the 1999 Skat-Trak World Finals, October 10 - 17, 1999, rank CHRISTY CARLSON first in Overall - Pro-Am Women Runabout, with 60.0 points.

1999 · Likely
The same 1999 overall results rank CHRISTY CARLSON 20th in Overall - Pro Runabout 785 SS, with 4.0 points. The archive reads that row as the same racer by the full name on the same sheet, which is an inference.

1994 · Likely
An advertisement by Arai Helmets, USA in Cycle News of 15 March 1995, headed ARAI SALUTES OUR 1994 COMPETITORS, prints under Personal Watercraft the line Christy Carlson - #2 Ranked ISBA Women's Professional, National and World; the extracted text prints the association's initials as ISBA. It is an advertisement and says what the advertiser said, and its line prints no class or machine. The tie to the racer of the 1999 sheet is the name, which is an inference.

1995 · Likely
Two local newspapers report stops of the 1995 Budweiser Jet Sports Tour. The Virginia Beach Sun of 21 July 1995, on the tour's fifth stop at the Virginia Beach oceanfront, describes Christy Carlson as in first place on the women's circuit. The Antioch News of 28 July 1995, on Round 6 of the Westcoast Performance Nationals at Illinois Beach State Park, lists Christy Carlson second in Pro-Am Women Ski 785 Modified. Both are read from raw OCR, and both are tied to the racer of the 1999 sheet by the name and the women's class, which is an inference.

1995 and 1996 · Likely
Arai's advertisement in Cycle News of 3 January 1996, headed Once Again In '95 for the 1995 season, prints under Personal Watercraft CHRISTY CARLSON - 2nd IJSBA Women's Pro Nat'l Championship, and its advertisement of 1 January 1997, headed Once Again In '96 for the 1996 season, prints CHRISTY CARLSON - IJSBA World Champion, with no class. They are advertisements and say what the advertiser said. The extracted text garbles the first word of the 1996 heading and prints the association's initials in the 1997 line as |JSBA. No 1996 World Finals sheet is held (searched the archive's mirror and research cache, 2026-10-08), so the second line is recorded as the advertiser's words and is not a title here.

Personal Watercraft Illustrated's online item on the closing of Team Butch, also called Butch's Jet Ski Shop, captured in April 2001, names Christy Carlson among the riders of the shop's IJSBA racing history, without giving her years or classes. The tie to this racer is the name, in an item about the shop's IJSBA racers, which is an inference.

Recognition
The association's hall of fame lists a Christy Carlson among its 2006 inductees. The roster gives names only, so the tie to this racer is the archive's inference from the name.

What the archive has not read (2)
- The association's champions page lists her as champion in Pro-Am Women Ski and Pro-Am Women Runabout for several seasons. The archive holds World Finals sheets only for 1999, 2004, 2008, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the 2013 class list (checked 2026-10-07), so only the 1999 result is a title here; the page is a finding aid and is not a source for a title.
- No result sheet is held for 1994 to 1998 (checked 2026-10-07 against the sheets listed above), so the seasons from 1994 to 1996 rest on newspaper reports and advertisements, which print no machine, points or motos for her.
