The eras this page's records fall in are drawn solid; the others are hollow.
How we know: Each bar runs the years printed on that era's panel, and which eras a page falls in is the archive's grouping of its records, not the length of anyone's career.
Titles on the record (1)
Each read off a results document the archive holds: a result sheet, or, for a season's title, the body's own champions grid or season table, with the name as that document prints it.

Results
2008 · Confirmed
The 2008 World Finals results list Eric Lagpoulos first in Runabout Open Slalom, in a table the sheet marks as giving three places only, with a run of 18.91 against 19.46 for the second-placed rider. The same sheet lists Eric Lagpoulos fifth in Pro Am Runabout Stock, with moto placings of 7 and 4. The next claim gives the reason the archive reads that spelling as Eric Lagopoulos.

2008, 2013, 2015 and 2017 · Likely
The 2008 sheet prints his surname with a letter missing. The archive reads Lagpoulos as Eric Lagopoulos because the association's champions page, a finding aid and not evidence, lists Eric Lagopoulos of the U.S.A. for Slalom Runabout Open in 2008, the same class and year, and because the World Finals documents of 2013, 2015 and 2017 print the full spelling in runabout classes, among them Runabout Open Slalom in 2013 and 2015. The tie is the archive's inference.

2015 · Confirmed
On the 2015 World Finals results he is second in Pro Am Runabout 1000 SS and sixth in Runabout Open Slalom, on number 11 with a machine coded SDG in both.

2017 · Confirmed
IJSBA's results for the Saturday of the 2017 World Finals list him second in PRO AM RUNABOUT 1100 SS, on number 361 and a machine coded SDG, with moto placings of 2 and 2.

2013 · Likely
He was entered in Pro-Am Runabout 800 SS and Runabout Open Slalom at the 2013 Hot Products World Finals, on the association's class list, an entry list and not results. The list prints his name only, and its race-number cells alternate between lines, so no number is read.

2004 · Likely
At the 2004 World Finals the pro results sheet lists LAGOPOULOS, ERIC third in the Final of Pro-Am Runabout 800 Superstock, and the expert closed-course sheet lists him eleventh in the Final of Pro-Am Runabout Modified. Reading both as this rider rests on the name, printed in full on these sheets, and on the Pro-Am Runabout 800 SS class that the 2013 list also enters him in, an inference.

What the archive has not read (4)
- The association's champions page, a finding aid, also lists him under Slalom Runabout Open for 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011, spelled Lagopoulis for 2009 to 2011, and under Pro Runabout 785 for 2003. The archive holds no World Finals result sheet for those years (checked 2026-10-07 against the sheets held for 1999, 2004, 2008, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the 2013 class list), so none is a title here.
- The 2008 sheet prints the heading Runabout Open Slalom over two tables of three places. The first lists the rider printed Eric Lagpoulos first; the second lists three other riders and is read as the ski slalom table, because the association's champions page, a finding aid, gives 2008 Slalom Ski Open to its first-placed rider. The record uses the first table only (checked 2026-10-07).
- The 1999 World Finals sheet prints ERIC "OUTLAW" LAGOPOULO, with the surname cut at the column edge, in five classes. Nothing but the name ties those rows to this rider, and that sheet's hometown column drifts, so they are left out (checked 2026-10-07).
- No held World Finals sheet for 2018 or 2019 names him, and the 2008 and 2004 sheets print no event name in their text; the event and year come from the addresses the association published them at (searched the archive's mirror and research cache, 2026-10-07).

The association's own list of world champions, titled 1982 to 2007 and running to 2016. Held as a finding aid, not evidence: a World Finals title on a Key Figures page rests on that year's result sheet, and the list is the association's compiled work.
