Sandor Vagott

At a glance
The eras this page's records fall in are drawn solid; the others are hollow.
How we know: Each bar runs the years printed on that era's panel, and which eras a page falls in is the archive's grouping of its records, not the length of anyone's career.

2005 and 2006 · Likely
The federation's 2005 and 2006 rule books list Vágott Sándor as the representative (képviselője) of LAND-BAU KFT among its member bodies, and its newsletter No. 9 of August 2005 says the fifth and closing round of the 2005 national championship, the Land-Bau Jet-Ski Kupa at Ónodi-tó on 20 and 21 August 2005, was held with Land-Bau KFT's sponsorship, and thanks Vágott Sándor of Land-Bau KFT as the race's main sponsor. Reading the representative and sponsor as the federation's vice-president rests on the shared name and the shared federation, and is the archive's inference. No document held says what the company does (searched the archive's mirror and the research cache for Land-Bau, 2026-10-09).

Organising the sport
2006 · Confirmed
The federation's 2006 rule book prints Vágott Sándor on the second line under Alelnök (vice-president) in its list of officers, and the same book's foreword is signed by him as alelnök beside the president and the other vice-president.
Sources: Hungarian national book 2006 officers; Hungarian federation 2006 foreword
For 2005 the federation's documents differ on its second vice-president. The foreword of its 2005 rule book is signed by Vágott Sándor as alelnök, and its own history page says the general assembly of 14 February 2005 elected him alelnök, but the officers table in part IV of the same 2005 book prints a different name on the second Alelnök line. The archive does not settle which is right.
- Hungarian federation 2005 foreword says
- The 2005 foreword is signed by Gerencsér Csaba and Vágott Sándor as alelnök, either side of Czeller Béla as elnök.
- Hungarian national book 2005 says
- The officers table in part IV of the 2005 book prints a different name on the second Alelnök line, under Gerencsér Csaba.

2004, 2006 and 2024 · Likely
The federation's own page on its history and officers, read on 9 October 2026, lists Vágott Sándor as elnökségi tag (board member) from 13 May 2004 to 14 February 2005 and as alelnök from 14 February 2005 to 31 March 2024, and says the 2006 closing round of the UIM jet-ski world and European championships, held on the Old Lake at Tata from 7 to 10 September 2006, ran with his support as vice-president. It is the federation's later account, and its 2005 date is the contested point above.

What the archive has not read (1)
- The federation's documents held name no vote, mandate or duties for the post. After 2006 only the federation's history page and the UIM's 2019 yearbook name him (searched the Hungarian federation's texts in the archive's mirror and the research cache for Vágott, 2026-10-09).
Documents cited on this page
- Hungarian national book 2006 officers (web.archive.org): MJSZ 2006 rule book, part IV, section 1, the federation and its officers (copied in the PDF's own text order from the PDF held beside the book's text), Magyar Jet-Ski Szovetseg, 2006; sanctioning body, high. The federation's own list of its officers in its 2006 book, copied from the held PDF in the order the PDF stores its text. In that order the page prints Czeller Béla as Elnök (president), Gerencsér Csaba and on the next line Vágott Sándor under Alelnök (vice-president, line 19), Zana Tamás and Kurinka László under Elnökségi tag (board member), and Molnár Edina as Megbízott f.titkár (acting general secretary, line 22), as the book's own header line also does. The text held as mjsz-2006-part4-national moves the names down one or two rows against the post headings; the officer lines there are not to be read without this text. High for the federation's own officers. Telephone numbers, the address and the e-mail are replaced.
- Hungarian national book 2005 (web.archive.org): MJSZ 2005 rule book, part IV, the Hungarian national book (championship results 1992 to 2004 and European and world placings 1994 to 2004), Magyar Jet-Ski Szovetseg, 2005; sanctioning body, high. The previous year's edition of the same book, captured as RTF on 1 March 2006 and read from the extract held here. Its section 11 covers the championship from 1992 to 2004, in tab-separated two-column lists that show which class each name sits under, which the 2006 edition's extract does not always do. It is the same body's book, so the two editions are not independent of each other. For the five riders read from both editions (checked 2026-10-07) every place in every list from 1992 to 2004 is the same in the same order; the one difference is that its 2003 and 2004 Runabout lists are headed 1100 and 1600 where the 2006 edition prints 800 and 1200. The same extract prints phone numbers and registration numbers, which are not copied.
- Hungarian national book 2006 (web.archive.org): MJSZ 2006 rule book, part IV, the Hungarian national book (championship results 1992 to 2005 and European and world placings 1994 to 2005), Magyar Jet-Ski Szovetseg, 2006; sanctioning body, high. The federation's own book of national rules and results, in Hungarian, read from the extract held here. Section 11 prints the first ten places of each class, and fewer in a small class, in every season of the national championship from 1992 to 2005; section 12 its medal tables, a table of champions by title count, the list of perpetual Hungarian champions and the four riders honoured in 2002; section 13 the placings of its riders at European and world championships from 1994 to 2005; section 1 its officers and section 2 its member bodies with their representatives. High for the federation's own championship lists and tables, which are its own results. Section 13 reports events other bodies ran and no sheet of those events is held, so a claim that rests only on section 13 is marked likely. Names print family name first. The extract sets two class lists side by side and prints some Hungarian letters as substitute characters, so a name's class is read from its column, checked against the 2005 edition's tab-separated lists. The book also prints phone numbers, addresses and company registration numbers, none of which is copied.
- Hungarian newsletter 9 of 2005 (web.archive.org): Jet-Ski Sport Hirlevel No 9 / 2005, official results of the fifth round of the 2005 national championship (Land-Bau Jet-Ski Kupa, Onodi-to, 20 to 21 August 2005) and the year's champions, Magyar Jet-Ski Szovetseg, 2005-08-29; sanctioning body, high. The federation's newsletter dated 29 August 2005, whose first part is the round's official results list for Formula 1, 2 and 3, Ski, X2, Runabout 800 and 1200, free style and the novice classes, each row with licence number, club code, start number, make code, laps, penalties and points, followed by the year's champions and the results of the UIM European championship rounds in Switzerland. Read from the extract held here, which prints the Hungarian double acute letters as substitute characters. High as the federation's own results list for its own round; the UIM paragraphs report another body's event and are not relied on. It names its sponsor and its secretary, who are not used.
- Hungarian federation 2006 foreword (web.archive.org): MJSZ 2006 rule book, part I, foreword (the Hungarian affiliate's own account of its history and results to 2005), Magyar Jet-Ski Szovetseg, 2006; sanctioning body, medium. The 2006 edition of the foreword whose 2005 edition is also held, and longer than that one. It repeats the 2005 text on the federation's founding and its riders' European and world results, and adds the federation's hosting of European rounds from 1996 to 2003, the 2004 election of its president to the UIM's aquabike board, and the 2005 world and European medals. It is signed with three names and titles. Medium because it is the federation's own account, single-sourced, and the same body as the 2005 foreword, so the two are not independent. The signatories' contact details are not in the text.
- Hungarian federation 2005 foreword (web.archive.org): MJSZ 2005 rule book, part I, foreword (the Hungarian affiliate's own account of its history and of the EJSBA), Magyar Jet-Ski Szovetseg, 2005; sanctioning body, medium. A national affiliate's foreword, in Hungarian, read from the copy held here. It dates the federation to 12 November 1992, says Hungarian racing ran from 1991 under UIM-derived rules, and says that in January 1993 Hungary and five other countries formed the IJSBA's European committee, the EJSBA; it also says the two world federations reached no agreement on rules or race organisation. Medium because it is one affiliate's own account, single-sourced, and its signatories are not copied.
- MJSZ history and officers page (jet-ski.hu): Szövetségünk bemutatkozik, the Magyar Jet-Ski Szövetség's own page on its history and its officers 1992 to 2025 (Hungarian, jet-ski.hu, live page read 2026-10-09), Magyar Jet-Ski Szovetseg, 2025; sanctioning body, high. The federation's own page, read live on 9 October 2026. It tells the federation's history year by year and lists its officers from 1992 to 2025 by post, each with dated terms. High for the federation's own lists of its officers and their terms, which are its own record; its narrative of results and events is the federation's later account. Read here for the board elected on 14 February 2005 (line 11), the general secretary appointed on 7 March 2005 (line 12), the 2006 Tata round (line 14) and the terms listed for Vágott Sándor, Zana Tamás, Kurinka László and Molnár Edina. Names print family name first. It prints Vágott Sándor as alelnök (vice-president) from 2005, where the federation's 2005 book prints another name on that line, and Molnár Edina as főtitkár (general secretary), where the 2005 and 2006 books print megbízott főtitkár (acting general secretary).
- UIM yearbook 2019 (uim.sport): UIM Yearbook 2019, published May 2019 (PDF text read from www.uim.sport, excerpt of the officers' lists), Union Internationale Motonautique, 2019-05; sanctioning body, high. The governing body's yearbook, whose publication line reads May 2019. The excerpt keeps its organigram, council, technical commission, Aquabike Committee (whose head it prints as President in the committee list and as Aquabike Chairman in the council list), medical and safety commission, International Board of Consultants, and the Estonian and Hungarian Jet Sports Federation entries in its list of national authorities with their officers. High for whom the UIM lists in each post. The excerpt also holds entries added for other records (the Serbia entry in the list of national authorities).
- UIM yearbook 2025-26 (uim.sport): UIM Yearbook 2025-26, published June 2026 (PDF text read from www.uim.sport, excerpt of the officers' lists), Union Internationale Motonautique, 2026-06; sanctioning body, high. The governing body's yearbook, printed "UIM Yearbook 2025-26" and dated June 2026 in its publication line; the file is named Yearbook 2026. The excerpt keeps its organigram and council, technical and medical and safety commissions, Aquabike Committee, and the Estonian and Hungarian Jet Sports Federation entries with their officers. The Estonian entry prints no secretary general. (as UIM yearbook 2019 above)
