Editions, as the documents give them
| Year | Name as printed | The document | Rests on | Sheet | Count |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | WGP#1 Waterjet World Series and WGP#1 Waterjet Asian Championships 2025 | Round 1 Nishikinohama beach park, Osaka, 15 to 18 May 2025 (the series' own round page); round 3 Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, 17 to 21 December 2025 (Kawasaki Europe news of December 2025 and Watercraft Journal of 8 December 2025); round 2 Eau d'Heure, Belgium, 24 to 27 July 2025 rests on the series' page as searched, not read. The Japan and Thailand legs doubled as the Waterjet Asian Championships, per the event titles. | the organiser's own page or post | none | not counted |
| 2026 | none printed | IJSBA's post of 12 January 2026 announcing the strategic partnership and the 2026 World Series. A forthcoming season; the post states a season prize total across three events, which is not a per-class figure. | the organiser's own page or post | none | not counted |
None of the 2 WGP#1 World Grand Prix and World Series editions above has had its entries counted, which is why the Count column holds no numbers; the events index explains what a count waits on. This is not a calendar either: the dates of any future WGP#1 World Grand Prix and World Series are WGP#1's to publish.
- The King's Cup years before the series took the WGP#1 name are not dated by any document held; the About page gives 1996 for the first event and carries the name King's Cup without tying the two; the keyword bank calls it one of the largest events on earth without a source for the size.
- No results for any leg have been read.
- The 2026 dates moved after the January post: the series' events page prints 8 to 11 October 2026 for Lake Havasu and 13 to 17 January 2027 for Pattaya; IJSBA prints 3 to 11 October 2026 for the World Finals.
- Corrected 2026-09-30: the venue field called Pattaya the home round and yearsActive said the 1996 event ran as the King's Cup; neither is on the About page cited, and both are softened to what it prints. The 2025 row first cited the series' three event pages as checked on 2026-09-22; on 2026-09-30 only the round 1 page could be read, and the Thailand leg now rests on two press items linked below.
Written WGP#1 with the number; World Grand Prix alone is not the name. The expansion Waterjet World Grand Prix is from the series' own About page.
