Only true under these conditions. Read the octane column as a floor, not a suggestion. These compression figures are what the dome produces, and running fuel below the octane ADA states against it is how a two-stroke detonates and holes a piston. If the fuel you can actually get does not match a row, the row is not for you. ADA publishes no octane figure at all for the 550sx and 650 domes and those cells say so rather than borrowing a number from another engine. ADA marks the 650 35cc as the stock size. Compression also depends on more than the dome, so treat these as what ADA measured on their own combination and verify with a gauge on yours. ADA states squish relief separately per engine: 0.015 inch at 83mm on a 10.5 degree angle for the 701, 0.015 inch at 78mm on 9.5 degrees for the 650, and zero relief at 76mm on 10 degrees for the 550sx.
