IHRA2026, DD.5. A closed-list class. The craft must stay stock except where the rules allow otherwise, so anything unlisted is not permitted.

Places where the rulebook contradicts itself, or where a figure could not be settled. Nothing in this list is decided, and it sits here rather than in a footnote because it is what you would want before spending money.

  • The same DD closed-list problem applies, and it bites hardest here. A class whose evident intent is near-total freedom is governed by a sentence saying anything unlisted is illegal.
  • Turbochargers remain prohibited unless OEM-equipped while superchargers are open, in a class that otherwise permits hull swaps between manufacturers.

  • No class criteria of any kind.
