- The phrase over 40 years is not defined as 40+ or strictly over 40, and the rulebook does not say whether it is reckoned at 31 December like other ages.
- The one-year national/international experience requirement is stated in 302.01.07 (the Jet Raid/Offshore/Endurance article); whether it governs the circuit Veterans class is unconfirmed.
