Ski Grand Prix

IJSBA2025, SKGP. An open class. It carries no clause requiring the craft to stay stock, so anything the rules do not restrict appears to be permitted. That reading is ours rather than the rulebook’s.

Open questions on this class (5)

Places where the rulebook contradicts itself, or where a figure could not be settled. Nothing in this list is decided, and it sits here rather than in a footnote because it is what you would want before spending money.

  • BOOST LIMITS ARE CONTRADICTORY. SKGP.9.3 returned three incompatible sets. Do not publish a Ski GP boost number.
  • Sponson vertical channel returned as 63.00mm here vs 63.5mm elsewhere.
  • The hood rule inside the Ski GP document references "the Ski Modified Class" - possibly a cut-and-paste artefact in the PDF.
  • Sub-numbering under SKGP.2 is unreliable.
  • The "97 inches" aftermarket hull length cap for the SX-R sits oddly beside the rule that the SX-R may not use an aftermarket hull at all.

What the rules say (58 parts)

56 permitted outright, 0 answered by our reading of the class rather than by a quoted rule, 2 the rules do not settle. Grouped by the answer, because an open class gives one answer to most questions and printing it once per part would say the same sentence forty times.
